UFC 110 Fight Announcement: Stephan Bonnar v. Krzysztof Soszynski

MMAWeekly is saying that another light heavyweight fight is in the works for UFC 110:

Light heavyweights Stephan Bonnar and Krzysztof Soszynski are expected to do battle at UFC 110.

MMAWeekly.com learned of the match-up Friday from sources close to the situation. Though bout agreements have not been signed, both fighters have agreed to the fight and are expected to put pen to paper shortly.

UFC 110 has yet to be officially announced by the promotion but is expected for Feb. 21 at the Acer Arena in Sydney, Australia.

Bonnar is on a two fight losing streak after returning from an injury layoff. Most recently he lost a decision at UFC 100 to Mark Coleman. While he has been told in the past by UFC president Dana White that he has a job for the promotion for life one has to wonder if a third consecutive loss wouldn’t make the promotion consider letting Bonnar go.

Soszynski made the promotion’s roster following a stint on The Ultimate Fighter. He went 3-0 in the promotion before running into Brandon Vera at UFC 102 where he lost a lopsided decision.
