Michigan 75, Detroit 64: Wolverines’ Harris Knocks In 27 Points

December 13 -Ann Arbor, MI (Sports Network) - Manny Harris racked up 27 points, nine rebounds and six assists to lead the Michigan Wolverines to a 75-64 victory over the Detroit Titans in non-conference action.

DeShawn Sims tallied 23 points and 12 rebounds for Michigan (5-4), which got 10 points from Laval Lucas-Perry.

Xavier Keeling scored 18 points for Detroit (6-4), which received 17 points from Eli Holman and 10 points from Thomas Kennedy.

Detroit was actually the better of the two teams in the first half, as it shot 55.2 percent from the floor and led 36-33 at intermission.

Over the final 20 minutes, the Wolverines connected on 52.2 percent of their field goal attempts and knocked down 13-of-17 free throws to claim the victory.

A 35-26 rebounding advantage certainly helped the cause for Michigan.
