Diego Sanchez suffered one of the more horrific cuts in recent memory when BJ Penn drilled him with a high kick and a series of punches in the fifth round of their UFC 107 bout this past Saturday. As more photographers have had time to get their work up online we’re able to see even more clearly just how bad the cut really was. Please keep in mind that these photos are not for the squeemish.

↵Here is the first photo with the cut filled with what looks to be coagulant, and another view from even closer. While it isn’t pretty, I still think you have to go with the Marvin Eastman cut (from his bout with Vitor Belfort) as the worst MMA cut of all time.
