Detroit’s Jonathan Ericsson Leaves Game With Leg Injury

The Detroit Red Wings were hit by the injury bug again as Jonathan Ericsson left Monday night’s game against the Coyotes with an apparent leg injury. Ericsson was hit by Phoenix captain Shane Doan and crumpled on the ice. He could not put any weight on his left leg as he was helped off.

↵This is the seventh player that has suffered an injury for Detroit. Others injured have been Johan Franzen, Niklas Kronwall, Valtteri Filppula, Jason Williams, Dan Cleary and Darren Helm.
