Bengals wide receiver Chris Henry has passed away after suffering serious injuries in a car accident that resulted after a domestic dispute with his fiancee.

The entire Bengals organization, along with Commissioner Roger Goodell and other NFL players, traveled to Lousiana Tuesday to attend Chris Henry’s funeral. Henry died last week after falling out of the back of a pick-up truck in Charlotte, NC.

The “very serious” injuries suffered by Chris Henry Wednesday in Charlotte were apparently the result of falling out of a pickup truck, reports NBC’s affiliate, WLWT, and the wide receiver is now listed in “serious condition” at a Charlotte-area hospital.
