Following an injury to Trevor Prangley, Strikeforce has made the decision to pull Robbie Lawler from Saturday’s Strikeforce: Evolution event.
Robbie Lawler Pulled From Strikeforce Event
:Strikeforce tried to find an opponent for Lawler, but FanHouse has learned that they have decided to keep him off the card. The organization is hoping to reschedule him for the upcoming Jan. 30 event in Sunrise, Fla.
This was probably the correct move to make given that the promotion only has so many. To have one of them fight a waste fight against a last minute replacement when you have a show the following month is a bad idea. They can put Lawler on the shelf until January 30 and try to find a good replacement that will provide the value you need to get out of fights from your top fighters.
