The Two Best Things About Bernard Hopkins Tonight

Yes, Bernard Hopkins is still boxing. He spent the evening pummeling Enrique Ornelas in front of 6,000+ in Philadelphia. He won a unanimous decision, setting up a rematch that no is asking for against Roy Jones, Jr in 2010. But before we leave this night behind, there’s two things worth noting from the evening.

↵First, Hopkins’ nickname is The Executioner. He was joined in the ring before the match by Michael Vick. Ironic? Not a chance. Bernard Hopkins doesn’t do ironic. He just does.

↵Second, when asked about Roy Jones, Jr.‘s recent loss in Australia, Hopkins remarked...

↵↵“You know what happens when you go over to Europe, that’s why I would never go there.”

↵↵Your move, Mike Tyson.
