Old Dominion, Secretly The Best Team In Nation?

Georgetown came into last week ranked No. 11 in the AP Poll. Their only game on the docket, a home game with 6-4 Old Dominion, looked like a gimme. Turns out, not so much. Not only did the Hoyas lose at home to an inferior opponent but they looked really, really bad doing it. You had to figure they were about to drop like a rock in the polls.

↵Nope. The Hoyas are No. 14 in this week’s AP Poll. Just a three spot drop, which means one of two things. That AP voters aren’t paying attention...which is an ABSURD notion (right?). Or that Old Dominion is a power the likes of which we have yet to grasp and truly understand. The New Dominion is upon us.
