Giants’ DE Osi Umenyiora has been a scapegoat for the Giants’ pourous defense much of the season. After Sunday’s 41-9 blowout at the hands of the Carolina Panthers, it looks like Osi has had enough. Not just of this season, but of being a Giant altogether.
Lots of players have been throwing “embarrassing” around in regards to the loss. Given that this team started the year 5-0, the same might be said of the year as a whole.

In its final game at Giants Stadium, New York (8-7) was embarrassed by a Carolina (7-8) club playing for pride, getting outgained 247-60 on the ground.
Coupled with Green Bay’s win over Seattle, the defending NFC East champions are on the brink of an early offseason, as a win by Dallas against Washington on Sunday night would eliminate the Giants from postseason contention.
