Brett Favre is tough. He hasn’t missed a start since 1992. He’s gritty. A gunslinger. Is happiest when he’s just running around outside, tossing the pigskin. I mean, the guy plays pick-up football games in his jeans. Favre is all man ... just, not when it’s cold out.
Brett Favre, Like Most Old Men, Doesn’t Enjoy Cold Weather
↵For his career, Favre has won almost 70% of his games in December, when the weather turns chilly. But starting last season, you know, after he turned 39, Favre is just 2-5 in the regular season’s final month. And a good part of that losing record can be credited to Favre, because apparently December is when he decides to just fling the ball all over the place.
↵↵2009: 1-2, 62.7 completion percentage (season total: 67.8%); 3 TD, 4 INT
↵2008: 1-3, 56.8 completion percentage (season total: 65.7%); 2 TD, 8 INT
↵↵And in the first half Monday night against the Bears, Favre is 5-for-9, for just 36 yards. Current windchill in Chicago: 16 degrees.
