Michigan State didn’t hold up their end of the bargain but the other Big Ten schools picked up the slack and the conference won the Big Ten/ACC Challenge for the first time. MSU blog The Only Colors is filled with conference pride.
The Only Colors: Our Long Conference-Wide Nightmare Is Over
Tell your Sagarin-based odds to shut up. The Big Ten pulls it out by going 3-2 on the road—with perhaps the biggest win resulting from a 23-point Illini comeback in Clemson, South Carolina.
It’s mildly ironic that the conference finally took down the ACC without a win from MSU, the only Big Ten team that doesn’t have an all-time losing record in the challenge (5-5 now). But what’s good for the Big Ten is good for MSU.
In other words: WOOOOO!!!!
Congrats to the Big Ten. Now you can go back to hating each other.
