Junior dos Santos, boxing coach, Luis Dorea said the Brazilian heavyweight faces former Pride fighter Gilbert Yvel, who comes from an devastating knockout victory over Pedro Rizzo.
Yvel represents a solid technical striking game, a lot of power, and a nasty attitude. This fight may be a step down from the previously planned dos Santos v. Gabriel Gonzaga clash but it is a stiff test for JdS.
Junior is making a very big name for himself in the MMA game and a win here should leave him maybe one win away from being talked about as a legitimate challenger for the UFC heavyweight belt.
