You have a future in track and field. I didn’t see this during third-ranked Kentucky’s blowout win over Hartford last night, but John Wall put on an amazing athletic display before he scored his first point -- or dished out the first of his school-record 16 assists.
Mr. Wall, If This Hoops Thing Doesn’t Work Out...
↵
↵Yes, your eyes aren’t deceiving you. Wall jumped over two rows of cheerleaders and a row of fans in chairs, making a perfect landing on an auxilliary press table at Rupp Arena.
↵The London 2012 Olympics are just a bit more than two and a half years away. Based on that leap, Wall could be a threat in both the long and high jumps, if he were crazy enough to give up his NBA dreams.
↵But looking at that landing again, maybe he could take a crash course on ice and grab a figure skating gold for the U.S. in Vancouver in February.
