Darrelle Revis has been incredible at corner this season for the Jets. If you have any doubt about his value, check out the shutdown job the Jets -- largely thanks to Revis -- have done to No. 1 receivers. (Second chart down on the page.) He’s the kind of defender that has fantasy owners thinking players won’t have a catch, let alone a touchdown, which makes Chad Ochocinco’s plans sound all the more brazen.↵↵⇥“I have one that is going to be so good. Everybody listening? You know the guy in the stands with the fireman hat (Fireman Ed) that quiets the stadium? OK, I have my own fireman hat made, but it doesn’t say Jets. It’s a Bengals fireman hat. When I score, I’m going to sit on top of the goal post and then I’m going to quiet the stadium like he does and I want everybody in the stadium to say, well there not going to say the Bengals, but everybody will get the point of what I’m trying to do. I think it’s good one. If I don’t use the goal post, I’ll get on top of one of my linemen’s shoulders. I’m going out this season with a bang. I don’t care what anybody says. That’s the celebration of all celebrations. I’m going out with a bang.”↵↵
Chad Ochocinco Has a Different Helmet in Mind for Sunday

↵↵Aside from Revis’ lockdown ability, which Ochocinco has been paying homage to on Twitter as he goes back and forth with the Jets’ corner, there’s the whole matter of how much Ochocinco will actually play. The Bengals’ game was moved to Sunday night, which means the team will now the outcome of New England’s game before they take the field. If the Patriots win, the Bengals are locked in as the No. 4 seed. At that point, the only ones to benefit from a Cincinnati win would be teams hoping for a Jets loss.↵
↵↵There’s also the whole issue of whether Cincy would go ahead and play it close to the vest knowing they could face the Jets the following week in Cincinnati. The Bengals, if they lose, would wind up as the No. 4 seed. If Baltimore had already won against Oakland, a Jets win would make them the No. 5 seed. (That is, if I understood the tiebreakers correctly and it would come down to common opponents. Ravens 1-4 vs. NE, OAK, CIN and IND. Jets 3-2 vs. same teams.)↵
