Is This Adam James Trapped in the Closet?

↵↵An interesting video popped up tonight (Wednesday, for those of you reading this Thursday morning) on YouTube, which appears to portray Adam James in an electrical closet just off the media room at Jones AT&T Stadium. ↵
↵↵The image above is of James at practice (left, AP) and someone who is allegedly James in the closet. Watch the video after the jump.↵

↵↵A video like this that appears after the fact should be subject to some healthy skepticism.↵
↵↵1. Is it Adam James? Certainly appears that the person in question on the right has the same (or similar) headband, similar hair, etc. I think most people would grant that it’s James, no?↵
↵↵2. Who posted this video? A user named spaethcom8181, who isn’t accepting messages and had already disabled comments on this video. If you’re trying to read between the lines, know this: No one named “Spaeth” is on the Texas Tech roster. There is no No. 81. Spaeth.com isn’t a functional URL, but Spaethcom.com is the URL for a PR firm. Did the James family go out and find a PR firm to handle this thing? Given that Leach was already bounced, that seems a little redundant.↵
↵↵3. Where was this room on the infamous tour? If you didn’t see this post earlier on Wednesday, give it a watch. Mike Leach’s attorney (and burgeoning cult icon) Ted Liggett gave a tour of the places James was alleged to have been confined. At no point did we see this small room with electrical switches that was poorly lit. The video description says this is a room attached to the media room showcased in the tour.↵
↵↵4. When was this video taken? According to the description, Dec. 19. But again, why is this coming out now, after the James family has basically already won and Leach has been ousted?↵
↵↵The video, which appears to have been taken on an iPhone given the file type (.mov) and the orientation (an iPhone being held vertically), is curious to say the least. After watching it a few times, I’m really left to wonder what was gained by posting it now, about 12 hours after Leach was bounced.↵
