Flyers Carcillo Suspended Four Games For Actions In Fight

During Saturday night’s game between the Washington Capitals and Philadelphia Flyers, Matt Bradley took a couple of shots at Philadelphia’s Daniel Carcillo. Carcillo took offense to it and cross checked Bradley a little while trying to get him to fight. As soon as Bradley agrees, Carcillo grabs him and one-punches him to the ice. Bradley was injured with the punch and left the game. Here is the video of the fight:

↵After looking at the video, you have to suspend Carcillo for something. Carcillo does not give Bradley the chance of a fair fight and for that he gets four games. Flyers GM Paul Holmgren had this to say about the suspension:

↵↵“Decisions come down from the league. Do I agree with them all? No. I certainly do not agree with this one,” general manager Paul Holmgren said. “We do not have a lot of recourse in this situation, Dan will serve his suspension and we will move on.”
