Casual Hoya: Good Win, But There’s Still Room For Improvement

In the postgame thread up at Casual Hoya, SB Nation’s Georgetown blog, there’s plenty of praise for Greg Monroe (and 18-point scorer Austin Freeman), but awareness that it wasn’t a perfect performance for the Hoyas.

The seemingly endless turnovers and fouls are cause for some concern but the Hoyas got the victory in the end as the Bulldogs shot a woeful 30% from the field.

Georgetown has chance to work out the kinks on Saturday in Anaheim, where they’ll face No. 17 Washington in the Wooden Classic.
