So a Michael Jordan Imposter Walks Into a D-League Game...
↵
↵So yesterday, there was late breaking “news” that Michael Jordan has been sighted in Orem (where the Utah Flash happen to play). You can see it in the video above, except apparently it was Provo, not Orem, and I don’t see Michael Jordan. Anyway, this could only mean one thing: That he’d decided to take Bryon Russell up on the challenge of a one-on-one game at the Flash’s season opener. It made the Herald Extra, the local paper, and lit up the interwebs despite Arash Markazi’s having Russell himself deny the rumor.↵

↵So what happened? Take it away, SB Nation:↵↵⇥The Flash played the Dakota Wizards Monday night and, because Anderson implied Jordan was indeed in town, a whole bunch of fans flocked to the game to see the greatest player of all-time in action. Free T-shirts were distributed.↵⇥

↵⇥During halftime, a Michael Jordan look-alike came onto the court. Realizing they had been duped, the fans booed and threw said T-shirts onto the court. The crowd was described as “catatonic.”↵↵Read the rest of this entry >>↵
