Steve Slaton Placed On IR Due To Neck Injury
Slaton sat out the Texans' Week 13 loss to the Jaguars due to numbness in his shoulder, and consulted with a specialist in Dallas on Tuesday, who reportedly told Slaton that he had a neck injury, according to HoustonTexans.com.
Slaton struggled holding onto the ball during his sophomore season, fumbling the ball seven times, and finding himself on the bench as a result. Nonetheless, the Texans will miss his receiving skills out of the backfield and in the screen game, where he excels.
