SUNDAY ↵↵Flyers at Penguins: Say hello to NBC’s Game of the Week, the network’s continued attempt to force feed Sidney Crosby to an unwilling nation. Seemingly locked into the fourth seed in the East as recently as a week ago, the Flyers are fighting off a case of the doldrums, losing six of their last ten games, something that’s allowed the Penguins to roar into their rear view mirror at breakneck speed. Though the two teams are tied in points, there’s no need for Philly fans to panic as of yet, as the Flyers have three games in hand. But winning this one is probably a good idea if they want to keep hold of home ice. ↵
↵↵New Jersey at Boston: Now this matchup ought to be NBC’s Game of the Week. The Devils are only five points in back of Boston with two games in hand and have won eight of their last ten with a very healthy and determined Martin Brodeur back in net. In their last 29 games, the Devils are an incredible 22-7-0. If the season ended on the day I’m writing this entry, the Devils would face Avery and the New York Rangers in the first round -- and who isn’t rooting for that? ↵
