↵If not for Dwyane Wade and Josh Smith, I daresay Miami-Atlanta would be the worst up-in-the-air series in recent memory. In game 1, Miami had one of the league’s worst offensive performances of the year on its way to a 90-64 blow-out defeat. Atlanta’s turn come next, losing by a long 15 in Game 2. Saturday night in Florida, the Heat ran out a 29-point victory that was over just after halftime. Bo-ring. There has been absolutely no drama in this series, even though it’s 2-1.

↵Thank goodness, then, for dunks like Wade’s above and the cornucopia of devastating throwdowns Smith has offered. That’s one great thing about basketball: even when the game’s a dud, something amazing can happen. Especially when incredible dunkers are involved.↵
