The San Francisco 49ers announced shortly ago that rookies Scott McKillop (fifth round) and Ricky Jean-Francois have been signed to four-year contracts.

Not counting first overall selection Matthew Stafford being inked by the Lions, they are the first signing from the 2009 NFL Draft.

I’m going to go with Aaron Maybin, taken 11th by the Bills. Why? Just a hunch. His agent knows the Bills need him badly.
