Barkley’s Swing Still Needs Work

Charles Barkley has a gig on The Golf Channel, in which pros attempts to teach him not to suck so bad. I would argue that these attempst have been monumental failures. Exhibit A for the prosecution, the sixth hole at the Regions Charity Classic in Birmingham:↵

↵Apparently, Chuck almost hit a spectator on the first tee as well. As FanHouse’s Ryan Wilson notes, it is completely mystifying that a former professional athlete could spend nine months with a respected golf coach ... and not improve a bit. More mystifying, perhaps, is that any man with two wits about him would stand down course from Barkley. At least without wearing body armor.↵
