Clinton Portis Anxious About Swine Flu

With D.C. serving as the birthplace and eternal home of the Hogs, it seems highly appropriate that one would be worried about the dangers of H1N1, the swine flu virus. When it comes to a contemptible outdoor activity like NFL mini-camp, and it comes to an ... excitable personality like Clinton Portis, well you just have a recipe for a Capitol panic.
↵
↵Portis lobbied for the cancellation of camp due to rain. Which apparently transmits the flu.↵↵⇥“With the swine flu going around, this water could have some swine flu in it, then all of us gonna be dead,” Portis said during a group interview session with reporters on the field as it rained. “You should cancel minicamp, especially in bad weather. Right now in Mexico, they canceled all sporting events. They need to do that in the U.S. ... This is a scary, dangerous situation.”↵↵No word on whether Portis has moved on to the SARS mask or is just packing on the Purell after every hand-off.↵
