At the moment, this is a pretty weak class for tight ends. But if nothing else, that just means it gives lesser-known players an opportunity to emerge in the rankings.

After all, going into last season, who expected Richard Quinn to be the second tight end drafted? So this season's tight ends are rife with intrigue. More than any other position so far, if you know about a player we should keep our eyes on, let us know in the comments.
We’re plenty aware of Jermaine Gresham, Rob Gronkowski and Aaron Hernandez. They are clearly the three top upperclassmen tight ends in the nation, with Greshman and Gronkowski a notch above Hernandez.
