Following an “injury” to main event participant Ben Henderson (and certainly not because of poor ticket sales or rumors that DirecTV may drop Versus) WEC 43 has been moved to take place on October 10 in San Antonio, Texas. This date also moves the WEC to Saturday rather than the usual Sunday slot avoiding the WEC from having to go head to head with an NFL game. Instead 43 will be heads up against Florida vs. LSU in NCAA action which should have practically no interest from sports fans. I do hear this Tim Tebow guy may be good though.
