Houston Alexander In Must-Win Spot

The UFC allowed Houston Alexander to take a fight outside of the promotion following his third straight loss. He will be fighting Sherman Pendergarst at Adrenaline MMA 4 on September 18. Sources close to the organization say Alexander must win to stay in the UFC:

Perhaps it goes without saying; but, Fighters.com wanted to verify the stakes for Alexander. “Oh, yeah. If he loses, that’s it with the UFC,†said Fighters.com’s source.
