Guess Who? (Now in High-Definition)
Guess who is back for dinner? You bet! It is I, MattHaggard. I've really missed you guys. Truly. I was starting to build a rapport with all of you for the short while that I was posting and interacting on Ranting and Raving but other obligations caught up to me and caught up hard. But I'm glad to be back and I hope to check back fairly often.
The school year just started and that means football. That’s football for my university as well as the rest of the NCAA and NFL. With that in mind, I purchased a LCD HDTV on Wednesday night. The next evening I sat back and watched my first high definition sporting event as the Steelers edged the Titans in the NFL Thursday Night Kickoff Extravaganza.
Tonight marks my first ever NASCAR race in HD. Thursday changed the way that I’ll forever look at sports. It was an eye opening experience. I encourage all of you that have not yet made the jump to HD to splurge a little bit and get an HD-ready TV. You’ll never want to go back. Besides, they’ve become extremely affordable as the novelty has worn off.
