Carlson Hot
TE John Carlson has his second TD of the day with a 33-yard grab to put Seattle up 21-0 over the Rams. Carlson has four catches for 77 yards and 2 TDs. Wow, great production from the TE spot for all Carlson owners. He’s also helping Matt Hasselbeck to a productive day with 250 yards and 3 TDs.

Frank Gore is having a terrible day toting the football, with 14 yards on 10 carries. But he just got in for a TD from six yards out, making all Gore owners breath easier. He also has 15 yards on two catches.

There’s a reason we haven’t had any updates on this game yet...it was largely a fantasy wasteland until Brandon Stokley pulled a miracle tipped pass touchdown for 87 yards.
Chad Ochocinco had a nice game with 89 yards receiving, and Cedric Benson even had a useful fantasy day with 76 yards rushing and a touchdown. Aside from that, there wasn’t much else to see. Correll Buckhalter and Knowshon Moreno had a hard time making a dent against an underrated Bengals front seven, and Carson Palmer struggled, throwing two picks against, what last year was an atrocious Denver defense.
Read Article >Tony Gonzalez Still a Fantasy Stud
Not too much of note happened in the Falcons-Dolphins game, but Tony Gonzalez certainly made his mark. Matt Ryan finished with a respectable 229 yards and two touchdowns, Michael Turner had an average day with 65 yards, Roddy White finished with 42 yards receiving, and Tony Gonzalez hauled in 73 yards and a touchdown.

Despite being the second banana in the Ravens’ backfield, Willis McGahee had the best fantasy day, finishing with 44 rushing yards, 31 receiving yards, and two total touchdowns.
Good luck trying to figure out which Raven running back to start every week.

We have a Kellen Winslow sighting! The former Miami Hurricane found paydirt for the Bucs in garbage time. It’s always painful when someone you’re playing against in fantasy scores; it’s even worse when it’s an otherwise meaningless touchdown at the end of the game.
Read Article >Brees Adds a Sixth TD Pass
Drew Brees fired his sixth touchdown pass of the day, finding fullback Heath Evans from 13 yards out. The Lions don’t have a very good defense, and the Saints are a machine when it comes to passing the ball. Hope you’re not playing Brees this week.
Read Article >Adrian Peterson...What Can You Say?
Adrian Peterson just embarrassed the Browns defense. There are no words to describe his scintillating run. Just watch it. And pray you’re not playing him this week. He now has 180 yards rushing to go with three touchdowns and 18 yards receiving.

Maurice Jones-Drew is having himself a game. He just scored on a 7 yard scamper, and he now has 97 yards on 21 carries, to go with 24 yards receiving. He’s certainly living up to his top-4 draft status thus far.
Read Article >Eagles D/ST Scores...Twice
Victor Abiamiri returned a fumble 2 yards for a touchdown and DeSean Jackson returned a punt 85 yards to paydirt. The Eagles defense has also picked off Jake Delhomme twice.
Maybe the Eagles watched some tape of that Cardinals-Panthers playoff game from last year. Or maybe Jake Delhomme just isn’t very good.
Read Article >AP Scores; Braylon Edwards Touchdown Negated
Adrian “All Day” Peterson found paydirt. While his yardage has been limited so far - 9 carries for 25 yards to go with an 18 yard reception - AP owners have to be pleased with the score after his relatively “disappointing” year touchdown-wise last year.
Braylon Edwards had a touchdown called back on replay, so Phil Dawson remains the fantasy star for the Browns so far.

The rout is on in New Orleans. Drew Brees has yet to miss a pass, and already has two touchdowns - one to Marques Colston and one to Robert Meachem (who we told you was a sneaky good play this week). The only thing to worry about with Brees is that the Saints get up so big so fast that Brees gets pulled right after halftime. Should be a big game for Mike Bell.
