In what has to be the feel-good story (fantasy and otherwise) of this young season is Cadillac William’s comeback from consecutive patella tendon injuries the last two years.
Cadillac is Back!
Williams was surprisingly named the Bucs’ starter in their “2-2-1” running back committee earlier in the week, but his strong early play has to make the Bucs’ coaching staff reconsider whether he should receive even more carries.
Williams has looked like his old 2005 self so far, busting a 35 yard run down to the 5 yard line, before punching it in three plays later. Through a quarter and a half, Williams has 77 yards and a touchdown. If he’s somehow unowned in your league, pick him up IMMEDIATELY.
