No Alarms, No Surprises: Woods Wins BMW Going Away

When Tiger Woods fires up a course-record 62 on Saturday, there’s not exactly a whole lot of suspense about who’s going to win on Sunday. Case in point: today. After streaking away from the field with an insane round yesterday, Tiger played a conservatively shot round on Sunday to win the BMW and put himself in the lead in the FedEx Cup Standings.

Majors or no, Tiger’s had an awfully good year this year. I wonder if we’ll remember it as such when his career his over. Without a major win, that seems doubtful.
