Superman Goes to South Africa

So how did you spend the waning days of August? Watching preseason football? At the beach? Trying not to sweat too obviously while sitting bitterly at work?

↵Well, Dwight Howard, Chris Bosh and other basketball luminaries went to South Africa. As part of the NBA’s Basketball Without Borders program, they were building houses and speaking to South African youths, and Essence asked Dwight Howard to document the experience in an audio diary. Also, they’ve got a great slideshow from the trip. This picture, though, was my favorite:
