Darren Rovell asks the question, and I’ll go ahead and answer: The NBA. Hands down. The NHL’s black-and-white shield thingy is nice, so I’ll give it a close second-place tie with the NFL’s uber-patriotic logo (in terms of logos fitting an overriding league mythos, the NFL hit that nail on the head long ago) … but the NBA rules here, I think.
Favorite League Logo? That’s Easy
↵Why? If I may engage in a little eighth-grade level analysis, I’d say it’s because of the athleticism apparent in Jerry West’s move, the way it cuts through what surrounds it. To me, the way the NBA’s graceful on-court product manages to somehow survive its off-court foils pushes the NBA’s logo above mere design aesthetics and into more meaningful territory.

And that is why I like the NBA’s logo best of all. You see, the dog was just a puppy. But industry … well that, my friends, was a revolution. KNIBB HIGH FOOTBALL RULES!
