Purple Jesus, Car Thief

According to a new entry in Vikings WR Sidney Rice’s blog, Adrian Peterson wanted to play a little prank on the second-year wide receiver today. So, naturally, he stole Rice’s brand new Maserati.

↵Therein lies the difference between athletes and fans; their pranks involve $200,000 cars, whereas I might steal someone’s cell phone for 20 minutes. But lest you judge him harshly, Purple Jesus is nothing if not considerate:

↵↵Part of the joke was that he hid his car key in my locker so I’d be able to drive over to his house and get my car back.
