As I’ve said since the announcement of his involvement on the show. Kimbo is a ratings monster. From the Spike TV press release:
The Ultimate Fighter Does Huge Ratings
↵↵The series, featuring the best up-and-coming mixed martial arts heavyweights, including YouTube sensation Kimbo Slice, garnered 4.1 million viewers, besting the previous “The Ultimate Fighter” high of 2.8 million viewers for the finale of season three in 2006.
↵…
↵Overall, the record-breaking Spike TV telecast drew a 5.3 rating (1.5 million) in Men 18-34, a 4.3 in M18-49 (2.4 million), a 2.9 household rating and 4.1 million total viewer.

That’s just huge. I wonder how much the awful fight affects ratings in the next week but one has to figure they stay high until AT LEAST Kimbo’s first fight.
