Overeem Needs To Put Up or Shut Up

Steve Cofield points out the obvious over at Yahoo! Sports’ MMA blog Cagewriter. Alistair Overeem hasn’t defended his Strikeforce heavyweight title since winning it November of ‘07. His mysterious “injuries” every time he is supposed to fight in the U.S. are starting to wear on MMA fans and his most recent hand injury seems all the most suspect now that he is scheduled to compete in K-1 in October with another fight in December.

↵Then again, maybe it’s all a coincidence and that 50 lb. muscle gain was totally natural.
