After New York’s quick burst of scoring, the Cowboys responded with a deliberate, 8-play, 54-yard drive down the field. Tony Romo went back to playing great, Felix Jones and Marion Barber alternated in running successfully over the vaunted Giants D, and Romo capped it with a one-yard touchdown to Witten.

Well throw an pick-six and following it with a fumbled kickoff is certainly not ideal, and when the Giants found themselves with first-and-goal at the Dallas six-yard line, it looked like things were about to spin out of control for the Cowboys. But the defense held strong, and averted any game-changing touchdown from the Giants.
The Giants got a field goal, but after Dallas kept them out of the endzone, this is still a one-score game. Which, given the hole they dug themselves, is a victory.

That was the appraisal from NBC’s Chris Collinsworth, as Romo sailed an interception into the hands of New York DB Bruce Johnson, who returned it 34 yards for a touchdown. And just like that, the Giants have taken a 10-7 lead.
To make matters worse, Felix Jones just fumbled the kickoff, and the Giants are taking over deep in Dallas territory.
