McNabb Likely Out For Week 3; Eagles Develop Play Package for Vick

Per a Peter King report, Pro Football Talk writes that McNabb’s rib injury is expected to keep him out for Week 3, as well:

NBC’s Peter King reported after Sunday night’s game that Donovan McNabb was not expected to play in Philly’s home game next week against the Chiefs.

Kevin Kolb is expected to get the start, and the Eagles will have a ten-play package to work Michael Vick into the game.

Kolb went 31-51 for 391 yards, two touchdowns and three interceptions in the Eagles loss to the Saints in Week 2. Of course, the bigger news here is that Vick will see his first regular season game action in three years.
