Russian Billionares Always Make Things More Interesting

What a fantastic lede from the New York Daily News this morning:

↵↵The Russian billionaire who is on the verge of funding the Nets’ long-awaited move to Brooklyn is a hard-partying bachelor who was arrested in 2007 on suspicion he was involved in an upscale prostitution ring.

↵↵Well, then. We touched on this story last week, and while nothing’s been made official, this bit of news certainly makes the story a lot more fun.

↵And hey, so what if he’s “hard partying” and involved in organized crime. He’ll help get the stadium built, right? It’s a recession, y’all. Gotta take the money wherever you can get it.
