According to ESPN’s Heather Dinich, the Hurricanes will have to play without defensive tackle Marcus Forston and defensive end Andrew Smith due to injury.

Forston, a sophomore, was first team freshman All-America last season.

For the Hokies, starting senior cornerback Stephan Virgil returns after injuring his knee late against Alabama in Virginia Tech’s season opener.
