Sidney Crosby has been experiencing a groin issue over the past few days and tonight it flared up during a preseason game and he had to leave early. I don't know but if I'm Penguins coach Dan Bylsma and the games are as meaningless as NHL preseason games are, I might just keep the franchise's biggest meal ticket off the ice until you can gain points in the standings.

Although according to Pensburgh, Crosby has seemingly had similar issues in past preseasons. Or maybe Sid just woke up this morning and realized, “I’m Sidney Crosby and these are NHL preseason games. PRESEASON games.”
