Notre Dame Up 17-7 in Third but Jimmy Clausen Out, Dayne Crist In

Notre Dame QB Jimmy Clausen was only 8 for 16 totaling 99 yards and an interception, but the Irish have been running the ball all over the Boilermaker defense which explains why they’re still leading. That’s not good enough for Notre Dame coach Charlie Weis as he’s made the change at QB.

Dayne Crist is in now. We’ll see if it’s a permanent change.
