Pennington Likely Done for Year

The bad news out of Miami – starting QB Chad Pennington is likely done for the year. He’s going to get a second opinion, but the preliminary report is a torn capsule in his throwing shoulder. (Yeah, I never heard of a torn capsule, either).
From The Phinsider:

We probably should have expected this news after watching Pennington’s body language on the sidelines yesterday. He’s a guy who has suffered through two serious shoulder injuries on his throwing shoulder to begin with. So he knows what a “serious issue” would feel like as it happens.

The Dolphins now turn to Chad Henne, so put him on the watch list just in case. You never know when a QB will catch fire in this league, but given the Dolphins style of offense, it’s doubtful he’ll be very fantasy-worthy.
