ESPN’s ubiquitous new football man, Adam Schefter, has the news via Twitter:

↵↵Turns out the Eagles gave Jeremiah Trotter a physical. Sounds like marriage certificate could be drawn up soon.

↵↵In semi-related news, I had to double-check with Chris that by “marriage certificate” Schefter was actually referring to a football contract. Are we running out of ways to refer to football contracts? Do we need new parlance? If so, surely we can do better, can we not?
