According to Albert Breer of the Sporting News, Saints Pro Bowl LT Jammal Brown will miss the rest of the season due to his hip injury.

Brown had previously been expected to only miss six weeks after undergoing surgery at the end of the preseason, but now the Saints have placed him on IR. Losing Drew Brees' blindside protector would seem to be quite a blow for the Saints, but then again, the Saints haven't had much trouble moving the ball on the ground or through the air in Brown's absence so far.
