Jacory Harris Promises To Be More Sarcastic, Less Arrogant

As much of a nightmare as he could possibly be for an SID, this is sad news coming from the most quotable quarterback in the country, Jacory Harris:

↵``I guess in the media I’ve been a little bit too arrogant, some people say, because I’m a very confident person,‘’ Harris said. ``So I’m going to change it up and be like, `You know, it is going to be a challenge. They’re a wonderful team and I might be a little nervous coming into this game.’ ’’↵The move from “arrogant to sarcastic” makes me sad, if only because we already have sarcastic in football, and it belongs exclusively to Bill Parcells, who hates football and has always hated football. Harris clearly loves football—even when getting the daylights beat out of him by Virginia Tech—and wears Louis Vuitton scarves to games. If any brave soul has to actually answer questions honestly to reporters without resorting to jock-speak, it might as well be our finest expert on the afro-butterfly.
