Royals’ Guillen is Out, Too

After a brief return to the lineup after missing 5 weeks with a torn ligament in his knee, Kansas City’s Jose Guillen has decided to sit out the rest of the season for the Royals.

He spoke to ESPNdeportes’ Enrique Rojas via text message:
“It’s a team decision, I feel bad sitting down while my teammates are playing hard on the field,” he added in a text message. [...] “The knee is fine, but no one wants to take unnecessary risks,” Guillen said.
