KHL Game Lasts 3:39 Due To Bench Clearing Brawl

Its not often that we see brawls of this magnitude, but in Russia they know how to do it well. The game between Vitayz Chekhov and Avangard Omsk lasted only 3:39 due to the fact that so many game misconducts were handed out to both teams that neither team had enough players left to play. ↵All told, the game had 691 total penalty minutes and each team was left with three players. The KHL has decided to punish both teams by declaring each team a 5-0 loser and Vityaz Chekhov was fined 4 million rubles, approximately $133,924, while Avangard Omsk was fined 1 million rubles, approximately $33,481.
