MMAForReal.com has learned that a light heavyweight bout between North Carolina native Rodney Wallace(9-1, 0-1 UFC) and Jared Hamman(10-2, 0-1 UFC) will take place at UFC 111 in Newark, New Jersey. Wallace is coming off a close decision loss to former WEC Light heavyweight champion Brian Stann at the TUF 10 Finale. Jared Hamman is coming off a 1st round KO loss to Alexander Gustafsson at UFC 105.

This is a really nice fight between two guys who really need a win in the promotion to prove that they can hang at this level. Wallace obviously had the better result in his first outing but Hamman shouldn’t be taken lightly, he’s a handful for anyone to have to deal with and desperation can make a man better.
