Louisville, KY (Sports Network) - Scottie Reynolds scored 30 of his 36 points during a second-half charge as fourth-ranked Villanova overcame an early 17- point deficit to top Louisville, 92-84, in a key Big East matchup from Freedom Hall.

Reynolds hit all five of his attempts from three-point range, made 9-of-10 shots from the field overall and connected on 13-of-17 free throws for the Wildcats (15-1, 4-0 Big East), who have now won six straight since suffering its lone loss to Temple on December 13.

Corey Fisher and Taylor King scored 12 points apiece and Maalik Wayns added 11.

Both teams combined to go to the line for a whopping 94 free throw attempts with Villanova hitting 35-of-49 and Louisville making 39-of-45.

Samardo Samuels had 21 points, seven rebounds and four blocks for the Cardinals (12-5, 3-1), who had won seven of their previous eight games. The lone defeat in that stretch came to then-No. 3 Kentucky on January 2.

Samuels connected on each of his 13 free throws and Edgar Sosa made 7-of-10 from the line en route to 17 points. Peyton Siva added 12 points in the loss.
